A.B. Reid wrote this novel to honour her grandparents and believes it is important to share the stories of our ancestors, who faced unpredictable times with courage. Using her family’s stories and transcripts, and her grandfather’s journals and records, what started as a hobby to learn more about her history soon became a passion. A.B. lives in Kitchener, Ontario. The Roll of Honour is her first book.
